Yes, that's 5% of sales, not profits. It's a significant commitment, but we feel it's a necessary one. The work that needs doing to preserve the wild needs ongoing resourcing that's often hard to come by. We've built that support right into our business.

We've partnered with the International Conservation Fund of Canada (ICFC), one of Canada's Top 100 charities and a leader in international wildlife conservation.
100% of our donations are used to fund active conservation projects run by experts within local governments and field partner organizations in over 30 countries.

How are the funds used?
The ICFC funds more than 40 conservation projects across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Below are just a few of the projects that are making a difference right now.
Nepal's Red Pandas
Nepal's endangered red panda population is severely threatened by poaching and habitat fragmentation due to deforestation and development.
This project, run with field partner Red Panda Network, is working to protect the dwindling red panda population by establishing long-term anti-poaching, stewardship, and monitoring activities in 40 local forests.
Supporting Sanctuaries
Kenya’s Mukutan Conservancy spans 365 square kilometers on the edge of the Great Rift Valley. It serves as a vital water catchment area for two major lakes and is a crucial sanctuary for wildlife. It faces ongoing threats from poaching, human-wildlife conflicts, and land degradation from poor land-use practices.
Ongoing funding of the Conservancy has led to a better trained and equipped ranger force, significantly improving security. The result has been a rebound in key species, including elephants, lions, leopards, and buffalos.
Conserving the Blue-throated Macaw
The Barba Azul Reserve in Bolivia's Beni Savanna is a conservation haven for the critically endangered blue-throated macaw (fewer than 300 remain). The ICFC's funding supports eco-friendly cattle management to preserve bird habitats, firebreaks to protect the savanna, and fencing with palm seedling transplantation to sustain macaw food sources. These actions, combined with post-pandemic tourism growth and infrastructure improvements, are enhancing ecotourism and research, aiding ongoing conservation and habitat expansion for this endangered species and many other threatened species within the reserve.
